Since 2007 we have fostered over a hundred dogs, and Daisy was always the top mama. I started volunteering at the East Valley Animal Shelter and learned the sad fact of older dogs and sick dogs being dumped by their humans when they need them most.

Fosters are the greatest asset that a rescue can have. We rescue most of our senior dogs from the shelters. These dogs have been abandoned, given up, or left behind by the families that they have known all of their lives. They are depressed and some of them shut down. Being older dogs, they have less possibility

We would love to have volunteers who would enjoy walking our dogs or even taking them for a car ride to the local dog park. Although most of our dogs are permanent hospice residents at the ranch, sometimes we have younger seniors who are adoptable.
