I've taken a slightly different approach to mounting the prisms, rather than glue a triangular plate with a bolt sticking out of it to each side of the prisms, I've opted instead to epoxy a 3 inch diameter, 1/2 inch thick plexiglass disc to only one side.

The mount is a Chief RPA Elite Series Projector Mounts. It's not the rafter mount or pipe that drift, but the little adjustment set screws in the Chief mount.

May 13, 2003 · This little projector is only six pounds. Check out the 1 1/2" PVC in short lengths. It's plenty strong. Stronger than the little skimpy 4mm screws you must use to mount the projector anyway! Another advange to two plates is the simplicity of removing the projector with minimal disturbance to the mount and adjustments.
