A few years ago, I would say $500 for a flagship body and maybe $350 for a D800/810/850 for shutter replacement. The Z6ii and Z7ii were introduced in October 2020 so that they are about 1.5 years old.

It is based on which focusing bracket is selected in the viewfinder, so you can place it off center when needed. Live view is very effective for manual focusing, with several problems.

To make a fake D850 one has to make it in the Nikon factory but since Nikon own its own factory in Thailand I don't think it's possible.

Dec 10, 2019 · The UC-E22 USB cable connects your D850 to the computer, for the purpose of transferring files to/from your computer. I believe most people don't bother to use it. Mine is normally and permanently left at home in the protective sheath that it comes with. It's much better to use a USB card reader to transfer files from camera to computer.

Thom Hogan has reported that it takes several battery swaps for this effect to disappear, and guesses that the clock battery is shipping discharged (unlike the D810's), possibly for safety.
