What do people mean when referring to a ‘D-Cup’? - Reddit
D-cup is the largest cup size you'll easily find at most retailers, so I guess people (i.e non-boobhavers) assume that it's conventionally "big" by default. One cup size isn't a fixed mass of boob; it's a ratio of bust to underbust, but most are poorly informed about how bra-sizing really works and thus don't really consider how much of a ...

I am BAMBOOZLED. How can I fill out a D-cup when my breasts
Apr 22, 2022 · A D cup generally really isn't that big a cup! I'm an F cup, and my boobs are average, to arguably small without a bra. I also second the flipping it upside tip for checking the band size. You say that makes the band feel looser, which actually means the cup size is too small, not just the band is too big!

Dec 1, 2022 · A few weeks ago when I learned the actual measuring rules, I was absolutely flummoxed by 3 inches of difference indicating I was a C-cup. I'd basically been keeping my middle-school "training bras" since I never thought I was anything larger than an A lmao.
How is my (37f) girlfriend (37f) a D cup? : r/AskWomenOver30
Jul 16, 2020 · One, I think you’re compensating for cup with all that extra band. Two, cup sizes scale with band sizes. For example, a 34D and a 36C actually have the same size cup. I’d recommend doing a proper bra measuring as someone else noted here. It’s also quite possible your friend has a different size as well - a lot of people wear the wrong bra ...
Why do bra sizes go from D, DD, to DDD instead of just going
A D cup is not actually as large as you think it is. Cup size is determined by the difference between your rib measurement and the measurement around the fullest part of your bust. Oct 14, 2020 · A D cup really isn’t that big, implants tend to look smaller than natural boobs especially under clothes. I have stretch marks all over my butt and hips from when I was 12-13 years old but have none on my breasts so at this size change I was okay.

Dec 13, 2020 · I'd say an "A" in guy-cups is an A-C in correctly fitted bras on a 32 band (UK), a "B" is D-E, a "C" is F-G, a "D" is GG-H and a "DD" is HH-∞ and beyond, of course there are individual differences based on hight and breastshape that may account for a certain amount of deviation in guy-cupsizes

Jul 16, 2020 · How could I be an E cup? E's are huge! But they're not, at least, not always. There's a societal assumption that A's are small, B and C's are average, D's are big and anything over D is massive. This couldn't be more wrong, because really, cup size means nothing without band size. Cup size stands for a difference in inches between underbust and ...
How to explain to people what bra sizes actually mean
Nov 11, 2021 · So when breasts don't look big, people assign them a b or c. If they look big, they're a D or DD. And that's it. A lot of people don't realize that cup size isn't visual, and it definitely isn't static. The letter alone says nothing about the volume if the breast. Neither does just the band size.
