To prevent online banking fraud, customers should never share their login credentials or other sensitive information, use strong passwords, keep their software and antivirus programs up to date, and regularly monitor their accounts for suspicious activity.

To do that, banks will need to enhance their customers’ grasp of digital channels by: Providing the necessary knowledge and skills for them to use digital devices and services for financial transactions. Ensuring a thorough understanding of basic functions, uses, and benefits of digital channels.

Digital banking surpasses the reach of traditional physical servicing channels (e.g., bank branches, ATMs and call centers) by giving consumers greater flexibility and convenience. Our research explores whether consumers have the digital literacy skills they need to take advantage of digital banking opportunities.

The key objectives of the present study are to (1) examine the overall level of awareness among the individuals towards DFTs; (2) find out if there is any miss-awareness about the same; and (3) finally to identify the factors affecting awareness towards DFTs.
