I am Christian Robertson. I am an interface designer at Google working on Android. I also design type through my foundry Betatype. You can find me on Twitter, but I mostly talk about my kids and my tomato plants.

Christian Robertson is a typeface designer as well as an Interface designer. Robertson is known for designing the Roboto typeface when he worked at Google.

The new typeface, Roboto, was designed entirely in-house by Christian Robertson who previously had released an expanded Ubuntu Titling font through his personal type foundry Betatype. [11][12] The font was officially made available for free download on January 12, 2012, on the newly launched Android Design website.

Christian Robertson, an in-house designer at Google, is the creative mind behind Roboto. Before working on Roboto, Robertson had experience designing fonts through his type foundry, Betatype. His work on fonts like Ubuntu-Title laid the groundwork for his contributions to Google.
