Apr 1, 2025 · Situated in the foothills of the Massif des Maures, between the Mediterranean Sea and the Verdon Gorge, it comprises nearly 850 hectares of oak trees, olive trees, and scrubland, which protect the age-old and renowned Château Peyrassol vineyard at the centre of the estate.

La Commanderie de Peyrassol a été fondée au 13e siècle par l'Ordre des Templiers et abrite le vignoble biologique Château Peyrassol et une collection d'art contemporain.

Heart of the estate’s range, the Château Peyrassol range is available in all 3 colours. They are made from selected parcels of mainly old vines. Very representative of the estate’s style in its commitment to excellence, they are characterised by their complexity and balance.

The wines from the Château Peyrassol vineyard are the perfect expression of the quality of the terroir and a century-old know-how. Wines made from grapes grown in our vineyards are: 1204, Le Clos Peyrassol and Château Peyrassol.

Symbolic of the domaine, the Château Peyrassol blend was created 20 years ago. Derived from a selection of old vines (at least 45 years old) growing at altitude in the domaine’s clay and limestone soil, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah flourish to superb effect.

Undeniably, the Château Peyrassol vineyard is blessed by nature! It is situated at an altitude ranging from 220 to 350 metres above sea level. Ideal conditions for a healthy temperature range during the hot summer months.

The very soul of the estate, XIIIE reflects the colours of Peyrassol’s terroir. Its unique bottle and free-form label, created by the designer Pierre Yovanovitch, combine authenticity and modernity in perfect harmony with this wine which reveals the taste of fruit without any diversion.

Emblématique du style du domaine, la cuvée Château Peyrassol a été créée il y a 20 ans. Elle provient d’une sélection de vieilles vignes d’au moins 45 ans. Le cabernet sauvignon et la syrah trouvent ici, en altitude et sur les sols argile- calcaire du domaine, un épanouissement d’une grande distinction.

Château Peyrassol s’est imposé comme l’une des signatures de référence des vins en Côtes-de-Provence. Des blancs élégants et aériens, des rouges soyeux et profonds, des rosés subtiles, frais et minéraux, les trois couleurs sont à chaque fois un hommage au terroir provençal.

Château Peyrassol, officially labelled as an organic vineyard from the 2022 vintage. Our vines have resisted particularly well to this dry climate, with its sometimes overwhelming heat.
