New Cessna 182 pricing? - Pilots of America
Feb 5, 2015 · Now we are at $300K. Is Cessna gonna beat that price? Again, nope. That would be a $200K price reduction on a $500K airplane. Bottom line: You'd have to be that rare combination of "stupid" and "wealthy" to buy a brand, new Skylane -- and I'm sure Cessna knows this. The only real question is: How long until Cessna shuts down the assembly line?
Buying a Cessna 182 - Pilots of America
Dec 26, 2019 · I don’t think you’ll lose a lot of your initial investment at some magic TTAF, just buy it at the right price. There is a wing strut SB that may become an AD at some point, involving cracking and a reinforcement, that supposedly shows up at high TTAF. I’d recommend buying the 182 buyers guide. And join a Cessna specific forum.
C182 needs a new Prop, cost of Hartzell 3 blade
Oct 31, 2015 · I checked with MT based on the suggestions here, but it was just that much too far out of my price range. 2 blade was less than $8500, 3 blade Scimitar $10,100, and MT was over $14K. I could stretch $1600 over the 2 blade, but $5500 over was a new Garmin GTX-345 transponder. Why a new prop? My old McCauley 203 was "old".
Cessna 182 Diesel Conversion - Pilots of America
Dec 14, 2011 · Still, their price appears to be "all inclusive", with a nice engine monitor, and 100+ hours of labor; check that against the price of a well known engine replacement for a P210. And they don't mention whether you need a core stock engine, so you may have that to sell.
What model type of the Cessna 182 do you consider the "Sweet …
Mar 10, 2014 · Cessna 182 Buyer's Guide (1956-1986) For what was important for me and my missions, my research led me to ideally be a P or Q model and I wound up with a 1973 182P which is generally considered the "sweet spot" but that is a completely subjective term in what YOU value as important in your plane.
Cessna 182, vs 206 - Pilots of America
Sep 12, 2020 · Sorry took so long to reply. There is no comparison to the storage between the 206 and 182. The 206 is huge the 182 has a slightly bigger storage space of a 172. The cargo doors on the 206 makes loading and unloading simple. As for late model versus early model not sure the differences except electronics are much.
Cessna 182 RG main tires - Pilots of America
Jul 4, 2018 · And the brakes are pretty touchy on the R182 - I think they used the same brakes as the straight leg 182 but with the tires being so small, a pilot who's used to a straight leg 182 will easily lock up the R182. (Ask the guy who had 400 hours in the straight 182 and then did his commercial in the R182 - That'd be me.)
Cessna 182RG, goods bads, what is the average annual cost.
Nov 5, 2018 · Me and my partner are interested in possibly purchasing a 182 or 182 rg, we will be on a 3000ft smooth grass strip. I was curious to how expensive the retracts would be on average. I realize that the maintenance on them is imperative to keeping them functional and nice. I …
G500 Retrofit Glass in a Cessna 182 - who's done it?
May 1, 2014 · Many shops will quote you a price and then surprise you later with the add-ons. I had an $10k difference between the low and high quotes. I would insist on a quote instead of an estimate. A quote is an agreement to the work for a specific price. An estimate is a best guess. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Sportsman Stol Kit - Pilots of America
Sep 6, 2021 · I have the full STOL kit on my 1956 172. I have installed over 20 on 172's and 182's.We always did before and after testing. Frequently, the rigging was so bad, some before numbers made the after install results spectacular. At the CPA Rigging class my 172 was used for the early model sample plane. John had a former Cessna test pilot to help.
