You wouldn't hike without boots and a backpack with water.. You wouldn't climb without safety gear and ropes. Same with caving.

Caving can be incredibly fun and no more exerting than a mid level hike or even an easy one, there are walkable caves we've brought literal toddlers into completely safe with proper gear and all. Sep 7, 2022 · Growing up in mining city used to enjoy going in them. I also used to enjoy reading about caving or even cave diving, but then i watched the story of nutty putty caves. Bushman’s hole and nutty putty are the stuff of nightmares. Have always had a dream of trying to climb up through a winding staircase made of hollowed out ornate cinder blocks.

Feb 8, 2023 · The BMS long frame micro rack is pretty much the go-to micro rack in the eastern US. I’d avoid the short frame version because it is very difficult to use with stiff 11mm, especially when dirty, but the long frame handles the traditional range of caving rope (9-11mm) very well.
