On your computer, open Chrome. Open the file you want to cast in a Chrome tab. Drag and drop the file into a Chrome tab, or use a keyboard shortcut: Windows: Ctrl + O. Mac: command + O. At the top right, select More Cast, save, and share Cast…. Select the device you want to cast to.

Cast to Google TV
Make sure you turn on casting on your TV. From the Google TV home screen, select All settings . Select Apps See all apps. Find the app Google Cast. If you can't find it, select Show system apps or find it in the "Disabled apps" section. To turn the app on, select Enable. To reboot your device, select Settings System Restart.
Cast video from Google Cast-enabled apps to your TV
Open a Google Cast-enabled app. Tap the Cast button . Note: The Cast button isn't located in the same place across all Google Cast-enabled apps. Tap the device you'd like to cast to. When you're connected, the Cast button will turn solid, which lets you know you're connected. You can now cast videos, movies, and TV shows directly to your TV.
