The Mission of California Coastal Horse Rescue (CCHR) is to rescue abandoned, abused, neglected and slaughter-bound horses and to provide them with a second chance for healthy and productive lives. CCHR also rescues horses whose owners can no longer afford to care for them.

We have a variety of horses up for adoption, ranging in age, breed, and temperament. Whether you’re looking for a horse to ride trails or have fun in the arena or a gentle companion, we have the perfect match for you. Our horses are well-cared for and have received proper veterinary care.

Horses arrive to FalconRidge from many counties in southern California. New arrivals get the proper veterinary care, nutrition, chiropractic, training, or surgery they need to improve their lives. Many of these horses have been saved from euthanasia, slaughter or from extreme neglect.

Saffyre Sanctuary is a horse rescue located in Los Angeles, California. We provide horse rescue, rehoming, adoption, and volunteer opportunities. Equine therapy certification and educational programs are also available.

The costs of maintaining TIER's sanctuary - providing food, care, and basic medical services to the horses of TIER are always there. To be able to step in and save a horse in an emergency situation or handle unexpected vet bills, we also need to have a sufficient emergency fund.
