Jan 10, 2013 · The slip mode and quantise can seem strange to people (they did to me) because they take over control a bit, so for experienced djs they can feel funny due to the deck not starting as soon as you press play. Whats important for me is having an accurate representation of a club set up (2K/2K NXS), at home. The 850s did a great job at this but I can't fully master the 'feel' or the interface (sorting etc) without the upgrade.

I have the same problem with one of my CDJ 2000s and last week sent it to a local pioneer dealer who says this is a common problem and will cost me about 250 euros for a new link print board so that sucks : (. And just about 1 year ago I had the rear usb port fixed aswell but at that point I still had the warranty.
