The main difference is popping one 5 minute wrinkler and then using those cookies to buy upgrades and buildings will make the next wrinkler more effective, overall generating more cookies than one ten minute wrinkler. Of course 10 and 5 minutes are very short lives for most wrinklers, but thats not the point.

Oct 2, 2021 · Only buy 10 buildings at a time (one works too but you have to keep upgrades in mind). Stop buying a building in 10's once they are contributing less than 5% of your CpS (unless you can easily afford it in a minute or so) except for cursors and grandmas, always buy those.

Which cookie upgrades are available to you depends on how many cookies you have to spend, which means it depends on how far along the game you are. These upgrades can get really expensive.

Then have a function that calculates the cost for each building divided by the production for that building. This gives you the 'dollar' cost per cookie produced. Then you buy the building with the lowest cost per cookie produced.
