Mar 1, 2025 · In the ANA Grading Standards book, two things are mentioned for this year Buffalo Nickel. #1 - " Very few Buffalo nickels of certain issues, especially in the 1920s can meet the FD requirement." FD is described by ANA as Full Details even though it is not a grade descriptor given by any TPG.

Dec 23, 2024 · No doubt I will be skewered for saying this but all I see is a leaning D mintmark, a somewhat compressed 1938, and extracurricular activity present on the tops of half the letters of LIBERTY. Other than that, the Buffalo nickel looks to be in excellent condition.
