Jan 31, 2023 · I use an FS-6 with my Katana 50 MkI. They require a 9v battery for the LED's but you can power it with a regular 9v pedal wall wart and a battery eliminator adapter. Nearly any 2 button footswitch with a TRS connector will work with the Katana. The AirStep Kat is another option that a lot of people use.

Feb 11, 2021 · FootSwitch with Boss Katana I have a Boss Katana mk1 (first generation) and I want a footswitch to change between the cannels on the amp, but the boss FS-5L, FS-6 and FS-7 are really expensive (like 50€ for a pedal that only changes channels).
Any cheaper alternatives to boss footswitches for the katana 50?
Apr 10, 2021 · The footswitch the Boss requires isn't anything fancy - it's basically two of what you linked put together. If you look on the back of the Katana, the footswitch jack reads "Tip: CH1/CH2 / Ring: Bank A/B". This means the plug is a TRS (Tip-Ring-Sleeve) jack for a 2-button footswitch.

Dec 31, 2023 · If you prefer to do this without long pressing a footswitch will work. I would use a Boss FS-7 instead of FS-6 like shown in the video to save space. Note that plugging into the back of a Katana requires a latching switch, but plugging into the GA-FC requires a momentary switch. Boss’ dual footswitches can be converted to either mode.

Jan 25, 2022 · So I finally settled to buy Katana. Too bad I can't find 2x12 versions anywhere and the 1x12 100w version is the only I can find. I'm fine with that but I need a footswitch to switch channels on my amp and I can't find the neither GA-FC or FS-6. They are out of stock everywhere just like 2x12 version.
