Found new Bose wave radio CD player in garage. Unit is at least 20 years old. Cdplayer tries to move but stops. Then shows cd fault. It will hum and than stop. From reading about cd it sounds like not enough power to spin. Maybe needs pot adjustments. I don’t know. Unit was in original box and never opened.

A: Answer While Bose no longer manufactures the Multi Disc Changers there may still be some available online however they are not compatible with the new system. You may also purchase a third party Multi Disc Changer that you can connect to the Wave Music System IV AUX Input so you can still enjoy your CDs with the benefit of the great Bose sound.

After eliminating need for wifi capability,decided to stick with basic radio Wave IV. Radio has all positive features highlighted in reviews: easy to setup/use,excellent sound and appearance;use of highly functional, compact Bose remote for presets. All in all, a superior product.

Aug 31, 2010 · Audiophiles bashing Bose is a non-starter as far as I'm concerned; it's about as stupid as when car geeks bash Toyota for building boring cars. Neither Toyota nor Bose market to the "enthusiast" crowd, and ARE NOT competing for this segment of consumers.

I bought a Bose Wave IV cd player etc.. from Germany. It arrived with a plug that wouldnt fit. We have another Bose cd player in the house, so i tried that one. Nothing happened though.. it doesnt turn on. I paid a lot of money for this. Pls help. Asked 4 years ago by Janet.
