St. Petroc’s Church is the largest and amongst the oldest parish churches in Cornwall. The present church dates back to 1470, although earlier churches existed on the same site from 540AD when the Welsh missionary, St. Petroc, founded a settlement.

We worship on Sundays at 10am. Organ music is played by an accomplished musician and a small choir. Incense is lit and a brass bell is rung. Clergy, local worship leaders and servers, robed, lead us through the liturgy. We hear Bible readings and a short sermon that relates the Bible to our lives.
Newcomers are very welcome at all our church groups. You might like to get in touch first to double check that the group you want is happening! Mission Focus Group. The group was formed in 2011 with the purpose of supporting mission work at home and overseas. It is open everyone in the Bodmin Team Ministry.
St. Petroc's Church is made up of all kinds of people, and everyone has a contribution to make: from making refreshments to working with young people, playing music to visiting the sick.
The Parish Centre. Just over the road from St. Petroc’s Church, the parish centre offers rooms and facilities that can be used for personal and organisational events. The large room upstairs with adjoining kitchen can seat and feed up to 60 people.
