It is one of the most most impressive castles surviving in the country and it is very beautiful. Its wall are made of dark stone and the main part of the castle is a might tower, complete with battlements.

Blarney Village is actually one of the last estate villages that remains standing in Ireland. It was built by an eighteenth century landlord so the castle workers had somewhere to live.
