WEBThat radiologist said yeah we can do a biopsy. Still trying to get the biopsy scheduled! They didn't have my paperwork yet when I finally got a hold of someone. This is nerve racking! Thank goodness there is this forum! My diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound was amended to Birad 4A this morning from a Birad 3. Has anyone had this happen?

WEBShe told me to ask my radiologist if my BIRAD rating was 4A, since if that was the case I would have a less than 10 percent chance that what they were seeing was malignant. My radiologist said it was 4A. I then got a RODEO MRI, which is a high quality dedicated breast MRI, with a 1 percent false negative rate.

WEBTARGETED ULTRASOUND. FINDINGS: Targeted ultrasound is performed in the right 12:00 and central to inferior right breast. At right 12:00, 5 cm from the nipple, the 10 x 5 x 7 mm hypoechoic mass likely corresponds to the mass seen on the mammogram. It is mildly lobulated in appearance. An ultrasound-guided core biopsy is recommended.

WEBDec 8, 2012 · I know BiRads 4a is a fairly low risk category, but still warranting a biopsy. I am trying to stay positive but it's almost Christmas and I keep feeling panic whenever I look at my young daughter. It's so hard to keep it together while I wait. And I do have to wait 3 weeks for financial reasons. Agony! Anyway thanks if you read this long post.

WEBAug 10, 2024 · 3 years out - New Finding on Mammo Today (BiRad 4) I was diagnosed with Stage 1, IDC, 100% hormone positive when I was 40. I'm now 43. I had a lumpectomy and 30 treatments of radiation. I'm currently on daily 20mg Tamoxifen and Lupron injections every 3 months. I went for my yearly mammogram today and they're seeing something in my opposite side.
