The Bay View Association is an historic, summer community. You are invited to “Experience Summer with Us” on the shore of Lake Michigan’s Little Traverse Bay in this friendly, open community founded by members of the Methodist Episcopal Church.

Bay View Association, Emmet County, Michigan. Bay View, Michigan, is one of the finest remaining examples of two uniquely American community forms, the Methodist camp meeting and the independent Chautauqua.

Bay View’s charming, 337-acre campus, constructed on wooded terraces overlooking Little Traverse Bay, contributes to the genteel atmosphere. Most of its 447 cottages and 31 public buildings were constructed before 1900.

The Bay View Music Festival, as just one program area of the Bay View Association, typically features over 30 professional faculty artists, over 75 collegiate musicians, and several major pops concerts a summer, just to name a few!

Become part of the Bay View Association, a historic community of quaint Victorian cottages located adjacent to Petoskey Michigan. Bay View draws seasonal residents and day visitors from all over the United States to its annual Assembly Program and associated Music Festival.
