Nov 11, 2023 · When I run my mic through the voicemod mic source my mic goes roboty every so often on Discord. For context I am running my mic (Rode NT USB) through wavelink and then into voicemod however I ran my mic straight into voicemod previously and it was still a bit buggy.

Jan 7, 2022 · The original quality wasn't bad at all, I just hated that I had to have my cam on. Best thing is, when I killed the program in the terminal, the last frame froze on my virtual cam. I could then move away from my pc and do my things as I pleased.

Apr 21, 2020 · Once you install it, set the background noise reduction to zero and on Voicemod settings disable the mic exclusive mode. If you have "pops" on the audio, try enabling the anti poping mode. In case none of the above works, you can always contact support@voicemod.net

May 16, 2020 · Normally my voice audio quality is flawless. When I pass through voicemod and click "hear my voice" or turn on listen mode in windows audio settings there is no change as far as I can tell, however, if I record the voicemod line with something like shadowplay or audacity, or I'm talking on discord, there is a lot of fuzziness and distortion.

Aug 14, 2020 · So I got voicemod, I like how the effects and everything sound, but I noticed when in OBS I set "Microphone (Voicemod Virtual Audio Device (WDM))" as my main mic device (instead of my USB interface like I normally do), then my normal voice without any effects sounds really poor and low quality.

For example, if you speak loud and have the mic right up to your mouth, you can get this horrible, boomy sound. At the same time, having the mic far away from your mouth can really make you sound bad. For far away, using the "under the mouth" technique adds to it. If you want it to be really bad, you can take advantage of directional mics.

Jun 7, 2021 · I switched from WDM to MME for Cable Input the other day and was surprised to see that the issue went away; sadly it adds further delay to my audio. My Mic already has ~1 second delay as I have to go through Nvidia Broadcast (echo cancellation) --> Voicemeeter --> Voicemeeter Aux --> Application / Windows input device
