I'm looking for fonts, available from Google Webfonts or Typekit, that would look similar to Avenir. Background. I'm building a site using Squarespace. My friend told me to use Avenir for headings and shorter texts. Any of these three: Avenir 85 Heavy; Avenir 65 Medium; Avenir 55 Roman; Squarespace does not have Avenir though.

Open Sans, Source Sans Pro, and all the other popular sans-serif fonts on Google Fonts are really nothing like Avenir Next. Avenir Next is a thin font. I used this filtering on Google fonts to find similar thin sans-serif fonts. I found two: Heebo and Yantramanav. Using these with the Thin or Light style gets me pretty close to Avenir Next.

Jun 25, 2018 · Avenir is a professional typeface family used by many, so its very likely that your copy may have been corrupted in some way. If the copy has been legally purchased this will not happen. You should check with whoever paid for this and make sure you have the right files.

Apr 22, 2024 · I am using the Mac system font Avenir Next Condensed.ttc in Adobe InDesign and Acrobat for a client. The font is not reproducing well--the lower case "u" has a larger X height than other lower case letters when the document is saved to PDF and this is especially bad on lower resolution screens, though it is also visible on my iMac 27 inch.

Avenir Next (mainly the bold weight, but also Roman) displays incorrectly at sizes around 20pt and at a viewing size of between 75% and 100% in the Adobe Creative Suite apps. The result is filling in and distortion of the letters but most noticeably the enlargement of some, such as the letter u, then y and v etc.

Open any of the Montserrat font TTF files in the font viewer, then take a note of its exact name. Write it down. And hit Install. Repeat for all the TTF files you want to install.
