April Elizabeth Ross (born June 20, 1982) is a former American beach volleyball player and three-time Olympic medalist. She won a silver medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics with Jennifer Kessy, a bronze medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics with Kerri Walsh Jennings, and a gold medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics with Alix Klineman.

(Oct. 17, 2024) – Beach volleyball icon April Ross, a three-time Olympic medalist, has announced that she is retiring from competition at the end of the AVP League season. There will be a ceremony on Nov. 9 at the AVP League Championship at Dignity Health Sports Park in Los Angeles.

Feb 27, 2015 · April Ross finds new partner for Tokyo 2020 Olympic run. April Ross, a silver and bronze medalist at the last two Olympics, will try for gold in 2020 with a new partner who has no international beach volleyball experience.

April currently plays with Alix Klineman – the pair has two MBO title and eleven other AVP victories. On the FIVB Tour in 2019, they won two Golds Medals and the Silver Medal at the 2019 World Championships in Hamburg, Germany.

Ross ended the season ranked in the top 10 on the AVP Tour in three different categories; second in aces per game (.99), sixth in kills (7.01) and seventh in hitting percentage (.440). On the FIVB Tour, their first event ended with a loss in the country qualifier.
