Solved! Apple Headphone's mic not working with PC.
Aug 28, 2019 · -Apple headphones mic works fine when I use it on my phone or macbook. -I tried plugging Apple headphone directly to mic input and it doesn't work that way either (tried both front and back panel). -When i use splitter on pc the mic looks like it doesn't get any audio but when I enable listening to mic, it keeps making a constant beeping sound.

Jun 1, 2023 · Airpods Voice isolation needs to be switch off for Airpods to work properly with Teams. This can be found swiping down in Teams whilst on a call and then selecting Mic Mode Standard. Problem solved. This appears to be a Teams issue/ bug - it used to work just fine, but has become a problem in the last few months.

When I plug the headphones into the "headphone" jack, I can hear sound through them instead of the onboard speakers, but when I plug them into the microphone jack, my laptop still uses the onboard mic instead of the one in the headphones.

My new airpods pro 2, May 2024. latest version firmware and windows 11 latest version of everything: Windows pairs with Bluetooth 100%. The audio (speakers) work fine, but windows cannot "hear " the microphone. This is across Windows test (in settings) and zoom and Teams.
