Feb 15, 2023 · Arenas doesn't suck objectively. The fact respawn decided to put more effort into TDM in one day than they have arenas entire run time is why it's trash. Nobody seems to actually seems to hate arenas. They hate the match making and ranked ap system. Now we literally have no way of practicing new guns or tactics in a genuine situation.

Arenas was the first time I ever tried ranked anything and I took off with it but as soon as I hit platinum they took it away. Grinding BR takes up so much more time as well as being a lot more restrictive of personal play styles, you get to think more and be a lot more creative when you don't have the possibility of a third party.

Mar 7, 2023 · Arenas was perfect it was the closest thing to Search N destroy, perfect for warming up and getting into fights asap instead of having to loot 10 minutes or drop and die immidiately to go wait for a queue. I also quit apex after Arenas was removed, and ive hit masters in the BR. but without Arenas im not motivated to play apex at all.

yeah i miss arenas to, i know apex originally is a BR game, but to switch arena for team deathmatch is just sad. i could play arenas for hours, but after 2 team deathmatch im done. Usually some drops from team and its a 3v6 or so.

Feb 15, 2023 · Arenas feels high stakes and you need to prepare and get ready for a sweaty match. While Apex is a Battle Royale focused game, which falls under a similar “sweaty” category, we saw Control provide a place for players to feel comfortable making mistakes, dying fast, and enjoying Apex in a much more relaxed way.

IF they bring back Arenas, they'll need to fix some of the glaring issues it had though. The two biggest issues to me were the ranked system was terrible and the gun meta at the higher levels was all hammer point mozam and turbo devos. Some of my fondest memories of Apex were running Arenas with my IRL friends.

Feb 14, 2023 · Arenas was designed mostly by the original team that made Apex shortly after launch. Which we know the current teams mostly aren't those people, which is natural for a long-term project like Apex. But I really can't think of a reason to totally throw Arenas in the bin.

Though I don’t think it’s the best idea to put it in mixtape though. It might end up in people being mad again since they’ll be forced to either play arenas or wait it out until mixtape shifts into the next gamemode. Might end up in the same situation again, where ‘everyone’ gets mad and causes respawn to remove it. Again.

Anywho, i’ve been playing Apex since S2, but my interest began to taper until S7, and taper again until S9 really brought my interest back with it’s early form Arenas. My girlfriend even started to pick up Apex, which she had never touched before, and even play by herself in Arenas a lot. I introduced a ton of friends into Apex through Arenas.

Oct 3, 2021 · Arenas focuses more on your gunplay (and a bit of round economy) whereas BR focuses on gunplay but also ring positioning, POIs, engaging vs disengaging, etc. I'm not saying that BR is more complex than Arenas, it's more like you need to be good in various areas for BR, while Arenas focuses more on the gunplay aspect of Apex.
