Mar 2, 2022 · Just got my Blood Antspur Rapier to +25 today. Definitely worth while. You lose 5 points of Rot and a bit of physical damage for a massive bleed buff with arcane scaling. At my level it does over 90 bleed per strike and counting. A thoroughly disgusting weapon and I love it.

Dec 2, 2022 · Blood Antspur Rapier would be a solid pick as you could stack the 2 exhalations and spear talisman for high damage and double status effects. Status is good for PvP mind games especially in invasions and scarlet rot is great for high HP enemies and bosses.

Mar 10, 2022 · Apologies for the necro, but I wanted to add, I recommend not putting frost-related Ashes of War on the Antspur Rapier. Applying anything that imparts a frost effect on it reduces the inherent Scarlet Rot build-up of the Antspur Rapier to zero. Or at least it does in the game as currently patched as of this comment.

Mar 11, 2022 · For antspur it actually does very well; it attacks fast enough to trigger bleed pretty quick, but I do mostly just use it until scarlet rot triggers and then switch to the helice usually, especially since helice can easily stagger with the jump heavy.

Mar 15, 2022 · Currently running a dual antspur rapier build for my toxic lass. Got poison moth flight on the left hand one, on the right I've got Bloodhound's step and just used the whetstone to apply poison affinity. Mushroom Crown and Kindred of Rot are good talismans for it, because of the rapier combos, winged sword insignia's a pretty good pick.
