Only way I heard to play mods on epic with previous patch is maybe using "legendary" client instead of the default epic client.

Jul 11, 2021 · I had the same problem and here how I temporarily fixed it : Instead of running Among by epic games, open the game by its original source if I can say. I mean directly in your files like : (go there) C:\Program Files (x86)\Epic Games\AmongUs and open the game. And now I can open it by the epic games store. It worked for me, hope it works for you!
