On April 7, 1940, the club began to operate under its own name. As the American Slovak Club prospered, officers looked to future growth and in 1944 purchased a portion of land with 25-feet of frontage for $285 on Broadway between 29th and 30th Streets.

On November 3, 1956, the new American Slovak Club was officially opened by Governor Frank Lausche. The Auxiliary decided to have Fish Fry Dinners every Friday from 11 to 8. The price was 80¢ a dinner.

Being a regular member entitles you to all amenities of the Club and the ability to be an officer of the respective Lodge and the Club itself. Social Membership: Social membership may be attained at the Club for a minimal fee.
