So there are nurses in the reserve making 5x this amount for the weekend after they’ve been in a few years. There are no bonuses or incentive pay for nurses outside of the flight community to my knowledge, but it changes annually.

Jan 1, 2021 · I’m actually at Wright-Patt as a Flight Nurse. It’s a very rewarding and fun mission. You will fly on fixed wing aircraft such as C-17, C-130 and KC-135s. The actual Flight Nurse school house is at Wright-Patt too. You won’t be able to do any special tactics or Rescue squadrons. It’s a different mission.

Assuming you have all that, contact a healthcare officer recruiter near you using the Air Force website's "find a recruiter" feature. There are mental health nursing slots in the Air Force Reserve, however there aren't any opportunities for deployment in that role.
