In all communications, the AU logo or school/institute wordmark should come first; the brand wordmark follows. Adequate space should separate the two marks. Use diagonal space, horizontal space, and front and back placement to separate the two.

The Rising Sun with its rays of light represents the University and its many faculties of study. The Lotus is the seat of both the Goddess of Prosperity (Lakshmi) and the Goddess of Knowledge (Saraswathi) and it is opening at the break of dawn.

Aarhus University’s logo consists of a mark and a logotype. The logo consists of two letters – A and U – from the fifth element, the abstract alphabet AU Peto. The logotype is written in the AU Passata font and is placed under or to the right of the mark.

AU Logo The American University logo* is a highly recognized international brand. Therefore, though not required, it is highly encouraged that the AU logo appears along with the AUWCL logo in brochures, flyers, presentations, etc.
