What range do you zero your AR pistol in at? - AR15.COM
Dec 6, 2016 · I'm trying to figure out what the best distance is to zero my AR-pistol in at where I can get get the best average between closer range stuff (around 15 years), and longer range stuff (around 50-75 yards). Any advice would be great. If 5.56, then the same 50yd zero. If 5.56, then the same 50yd zero. Zeroed mine at 25 yards, for now.

Best choice ('d like to get one) is illuminated VX-R 1.5-4 hog reticle. 10.5 oz and very compact. Right now my scoped pistol is topped with one of the $100 bushnell AR Optics 1-4x.

Jul 6, 2013 · The 11.5" barrel is a much better length. You can put most cans on it without worrying about tearing up the guts, and you still end up with a shorter package than a 20" rifle. Since moving to a non-SBR state, the 11.5" upper got moved to a pistol lower.
