Jul 27, 2018 · The ALX Zolo rods are good rods (I have fished the ALX ZOLO Powerbolt and Deputy) but in my experience they are not as sensitive as a GLX. The GLX, Phenix K2, NRX, Megabass Destroyers, Legend Elite/Legend X, Conquest and Z Bones are the pinnacle of sensitivity for a reason and there prices reflect that.

Oct 30, 2020 · ALX use mid micro guides. So it’s bigger than standard micro guides. Leader knots are not a problem. I have multiple rods in both the Zolos and Ikos series and love them. Alex the owner has answered my questions multiple times and seems always happy to help. I wouldn’t mind trying an Expride though like others have suggested.
