Apr 18, 2021 · The DPI was identical across both resolutions. With that said I think 1600 mouse sens then turning down in game sense is best. I found that lower DPIs like 400 - 800 were jumpy while 1600 was smoother and this is at the same amount of in game camera rotations. Choose 1000 to 1600, 1600 is preferable.

Start at 800 DPI but keep the in-game sensitivity at .7 You're going to feel stuck in the mud, but after a few days or weeks, you'll adjust.

Jul 16, 2021 · IIRC, Battle (non)sense found that lower DPI can result in higher input delay, but that DPIs in the thousands were fine. Otherwise, it should be the same experience. The only reason I'd have for avoiding 1000 DPI, and other non-standard values, is that not all mice have that option. If you're an 800 user, you can be an 800 user on every mouse.

Yes higher DPI makes the mouse movement more responsive and less latency. According to Optimum Tech's testing for average end to end latency, 3200 DPI is 18ms, 1600 DPI is 20ms, 800 DPI is 23ms and 400 DPI is 28.8ms.

4k, or 2160p is 1.5 times 1440p. 800 dpi times 1.5 would be 1200 dpi. But just use whatever feels best to you. in a 3d game there's no difference, on desktop idk if it translates exactly like that but I'd just keep it for whatever u use in game.

Jun 1, 2021 · 1600 dpi, in game 5 or 6 sensitivity. You need to use both your arm and wrist. Also you need a large mouse space(40x40cm is ideal). Comp players use 400 dpi with 5-6 sensitivity. I don't have that much mouse space so 1600 works for me. Don't listen to that other person about mouse accelerators.
