Jun 16, 2003 · yeah 70% is nothing, i got 35% and it looks reall good at night and is still dark during the day but not enough to get busted. i think you guys are mixing up the numbers. when he's talking about 70%, he means what you guys think of 30%. i think you guys are mixing up the % of sunlight in, and % sunlight blocked.

Jul 17, 2012 · I'm interested in Llumar Air80 and have been doing a bit of trawling the net when I came across the 3M Crystaline clear 70%. Any one have any experience with this film and which would block the most heat, all I can find for spec of the 3M is that it allows up to 90% light through but no comparable figures to the Air80.

Oct 8, 2008 · Hi all, Had my local shop put 70% Suntek CIR on my windshield a few days ago. Driving home I noticed it was pretty dark and thought “wow this is 70%?” Seems a shade or two lighter than my 18% CIR front windows. Went back and asked him to check, his meter showed 52% VLT and he said that was correct for a 70% tint on the windshield.

I've metered a 2014 Cadi front door at 70% with solar control at 47%. A low end early 2000's Mitsubishi front glass metered at 80%.

Now here is how it works here in pa. 98% of the cops do not realy know what the law is. The way that it is written is sort of confusing to them.

Before the question is asked, that privacy glass is about 20% visible light transmission, 60-65% total solar energy rejection and 95-99% UV reduction. The fronts were 70% VLT light factory tint (green glass) before adding Crystalline 40.
