WEBDec 20, 2019 · 6.5 Carcano load data help, please. I recently picked up a 91/38 Carcano Troop Special Carbine in the 6.5 Carcano caliber. The rifle is in very good condition, especially the bore. Barrel measures 17 and a fraction inches long.

WEBApr 2, 2021 · 6.8 works . There are dies for a 6.5-35 Rem. When the 7×6.8 SPC is used up I'll run a 7-30 Waters in it , the 6.8 reamer left enough base I believe to do so with 35 Rem but it will work absolutely with 30 Rem , or Carcano brass . 7.62x39 and PPCs . 38/357 mag/max . 224 Weatherby .

WEBNov 1, 2020 · The .35 Rem is a good candidate for rebarrel as case head/ bolt face are very close to the Carcano's. Unless you plan to use it as a single shot, you'll have to consider what will work in the Carcano's magazine with it's unique stripper clips. X39 , 35 Rem , 38/357/357 max , 22 Weatherby varmint master , 6.8 SPC .

WEBJul 4, 2021 · Hello, Got a 6.5 Carcano and can't find a mold or factory projectiles(all to small .264). I have slugged the barrel and it is .2685. Does any one have a source for some .270-.271 cast boolits? Also on load data;Can the starting load data for the 6.5 sweed be uses less about 10% to start? Or point me in right direction for Data.

WEBOct 12, 2014 · If you cut it down as I did, or mill the whole top off one or two driving bands, you can have a 130 or 150 grainer that will do. There was a GB interest thread for that 6.5 Kurtz over on the NOE forum. It did not get much interest over there, but it would be a nice mold to have. UK.

My cartridge for 6.5 Vetterli is completed from standard 6.5x52 Carc. case, cast bullets 167g. from LEE 6.5mm Swede moulds, with GC, lubricated and sized to .266, load 15g. of ACC5774, OAL 2.945. Very pleasant and relatively accurate. I measured Vo= 1450 fps.
