Nov 16, 2003 · The other option is to do what most of these people who build "bulletproof" 700R4's do and install the band-aided drum that has a sleeve pressed over the area that cracks. This is a band-aid fix and until someone makes this drum with a 300M or E4340 shaft and a billet aluminum (or other material) drum section it will be a problem.
