Oct 20, 2020 · No that is UHD 4k it is not actually 4k but all the organization who makes resolution standards and the corporations agreed to say 3840x2160 is UHD 4k. This because they want all screens to have a 16:9 aspect ratio for keeping the simplicity and manufacturing costs down. True 4K is 4096x2160.

Oct 28, 2021 · The problem with using gpu scaling, is nvidia sees 4096x2160 as the native resolution. So when gpu scaling is turned on, it forces the tv out of its native resolution, and all the issues that causes. Like funny looking text, and losing that sharpness of native res. This can be solved by removing 4096x2160 res completely as shown here

My tv is the latter resolution and games Gta 5 borders Final fantasy borders horizon zero dawn borders all these running 4096,messed'em up. So I had to look forever to find program to make 4096 invisible to my video card.
