But it really comes down to your ability to build it and your budget. 3/4 dof is all you really need for racing though and its okay for flight as well, just not the best. Last edited: May 16, 2015.

WEBDec 27, 2015 · The difference to me was massive you get so much more from a 6DOF , well 3 more true 3dof feeling. The 6FOF from dofreality doesn't look that great for €5000, I could build 2 really good 6dof linear actuator platforms for that price. In fact you could probably build a big AC rig for that price.

WEBApr 20, 2016 · In flight sims the full motion is used more for the pitch/roll angles and the G-Seat is good for feeling G Forces. My 3DOF is better for slow planes because you can feel the bank and pitch angle. But if I am flying a fast jet then the G Seat is better because it feels more like the G Force you experience.
