Yes. My first year of CC I had a 1.5 GPA. I took a year off and developed better time management skills. The next semester I got a 2.0 GPA. When I transferred to a university a few years later, I graduated with a 3.6 GPA. It is definitely possible to improve if you develop better studying habits and time management skills.

I got into Columbia's MS Data Science - one of the most competitive cohorts to get into, with a 7.0/10 (about 2.8/4). This is one of the most GPA-centric programs in an any top University - none of the students in the batch have below 8.8/10 and most have 9.2+ /10.

Dec 22, 2021 · I've had a couple semester grade percentages be less than what a 2.0 GPA would be. Just a matter of retaking the courses when necessary. After grad its barely above 2.0 now lol. I took classes i could handle the following semester because the previous semester i overloaded myself and flopped it.
