Dec 27, 2012 · - The fireplace sits between a very large kitchen and a much smaller den. - We know the flue is too small (13" square for two openings each apx 34"x30"). - The damper is 7" wide x 30" long and functions properly, although it is offset much closer to the kitchen side of the fireplace, creating a 'shelf' on the den side (the side that smokes).

Nov 2, 2012 · They can almost all be used with ductting to zone heat a home, if desired. there is a large double sided fireplace that may be what you are looking for (it can't be ducted). Says it is the only double sided fireplace in the industry. Don't know much about them, but ICC is a superior product, and this may well be also.
