Sep 16, 2008 · A good solution is to move the radiator filler under the hood and use a pressure cap. Remove the original neck from the radiator and make it flat on top. You can now use either a filled '32 shell or mount the '32 radiator cap to the shell using a strip of metal across the inside of the opening and a bolt to hold the cap on. Charlie Stephens

After getting close to this part of the project, the 31 shell I have is not worthy of the car. Friend said, Buy a 32 shell. I know using a 32 shell is quite common.

Feb 22, 2015 · My best guess is that installing a 32 grill shell onto a hiboy/fendered model A frame requires a 32 radiator that is chopped to approx. 25" in height from top of frame to top of tank. In saying this I am referring to a grille shell that is smooth and does not use the original filler stuff for real or for looks.

Sep 23, 2021 · 1932 Ford original grille and reproduction shell. The shell is of very good quality. The side mounting holes are drilled however the three side holes are not although they are dimpled so that they could be drilled out for headlight and horn looms.
