Officers assume immaterial positions all the time (01A, 05A, 67A) when taking command, BN XO, etc. Not common for an NCO but I think it will tell the board that you are broadening. Plus, if it’s coded 5O level, then that looks good. Vote up.

Smetimes, Soldiers get to stay in their current unit, other times, they must move. I hated losing good Soldiers, but didn't want to hold up their carreer.
