MORE INFORMATION Microsoft stopped selling Money on June 30, 2009. The last version (Money Plus, or Money 2008) required activation in order to be fully functional.

May 13, 2024 · I found my Microsoft money files on older program, Canadian Version did not run properly in the sunset version. that was way before Windows 11. One problem is I don’t have the updates. I like MS Money easy to use and I don’t think that there’s anything like it currently. I have records going back to the early 1990’s which is really handy.

Feb 15, 2024 · I have used MS Money for 20 years plus and have been running it happily on Windows 10. I have just changed my laptop to Windows 11 and I understand It won't run reliably on this platform. Reluctantly I need to change. It saddens me that Microsoft have discontinued support for this product. Paul

In doing so I mistakenly deleted my copy of the programme containing the data collected over many years. I have loaded Money 2005 but it will not work with my data backup. It needs a patch which I did have but cannot now find.
