Apr 25, 2020 · Its basically as good as Top Chef Junior, chefs and judges are all friendly and everyone has a good time. The masters put out some cool dishes over the seasons. Season 1 arguably the best from a name recognition standpoint.

How would you feel about a new season for Top Chef Masters?
And then you have a top chef master like cosentino joining Tournament of champions and losing in the first round🤷♂️. Granted Top Chef (IMO) is the gold standard in versatile cooking competitions. But it’s never really a barometer of a chef’s true abilities.

Second, I think that the overall talent level of the general Top Chef competitors went way up compared to the early seasons, so there was just becoming less of a difference. Third, I think that the Top Chef name just couldn't sustain so many shows. At the peak, I feel like there were 5 different top chef shows.

Mar 30, 2022 · Just what the title says - I really enjoyed this version! I watched the first 18 seasons of regular "Top Chef," and while I thought the first two seasons of "Top Chef Masters" were kind of meh - didn't love the host or the format - seasons three through five are great! I love Curtis Stone, the judges are enjoyable and the chefs are really talented.
