Aug 7, 2018 · Non obstetric just means not to do with pregnancy so that doesn't narrow it down much unfortunately! But if you've not been told specifically that its vaginal, I would think it's more likely to be abdominal. A full bladder is generally advised for ultrasounds to look at pelvic organs as it lifts them higher and makes them easier to see.
