Jul 23, 2023 · Migrated existing network to use xfinity modem/router, now some devices will not connect. The type of devices with issues are Roku, Kasa switches, esp boards, Alexa, google, wemo, hue I set up my network with the same ssid that I have been using, and changed the ip range from 10.0.0.1 to 192.168.0.1.

Nov 24, 2020 · The new modem regarding this is still blank and a phone activation signal has to be performed by the phone activation reps. The agent I talked to said they were aware of this problem and were working on it, but for now it might be helpful to ask about this as a starting point if you need to call customer service after experencing this issue.

Jan 19, 2021 · Hello - we swapped out our old modem for the new smaller, tall square white xfinity modem 3 days ago and noticed our landline phone is no longer working. There's no dial tone and outside calls are going straight to voicemail. Everything is plugged in exactly the way it was prior to the switch. Help! Thanks in advance.

So I purchased a new modem, one on the Xfinity recommended list , the Hitron CODA Docsis 3.1 modem. Even with the new modem, upload speeds are topping out at 50 Mb. I thought up to 200 Mb was available now. Any suggestions on getting to the 200 Mb speed?

The new modem is slower but when you schedule a technician to come out onsite before the technician even arrives they juice up your connection by running diagnostics and troubleshooting the day of the appointment.

Apr 1, 2020 · Right before swapping out the modem it pulled 241.6 / 23.34. However, a couple speed tests with the new modem are now pulling lower download numbers. I've run three so far and the highest it's hit was 200.92 / 24.04 (other two were in the 170 range).
