Aug 16, 2022 · There's some that are close to as good. Like the R3T20, but the BTR-ZD is just a bit better against planes. High ROF, High Velocity, and cannons that hit hard, you only need to hit once or twice to bring down a plane. To be simple it's a SPAA meant for facing Jets at a BR where it faces mid-late war props.

Mar 7, 2023 · Similar to the BTR-ZD in this regard, but the M53/59 is a much larger target, and does not have access to smoke. Mobility: Terrible. The m53/59 has around 100 hp versus the BTR-ZD's 200, while weighing roughly the same. Slow to accelerate, and can't really turn in place due to its wheels. Can get moving pretty fast with a top speed of 60 kp/h ...

Yea I already hate the BTR spam and because no one uses it for air it'll probably go down in br instead of up. AA should just have no AP belts.
I really do think the BTR-ZD should have more ammo, all considered.
Mar 1, 2023 · The BTR-D chassis is originally an APC, capable of carrying 10 fully armed soldiers (not including the crew). There's enough space for at least double the current measly 500 rounds. Not to mention the disadvantages of this thing: Very light armor, completely exposed turret, small belt capacity, fast fire rate and lengthy reload/restock time ...

Mar 14, 2019 · The BTR-ZD is an airborne armored personnel carrier, used to carry two teams with man-portable air defense missiles. This vehicle is typically used in combination with a ZU-23-2 towed anti-aircraft gun, mounted on top of the roof. So once the ZU-23-2 is mounted this vehicle effectively becomes a Self-Propelled Anti-Aircraft Gun (SPAAG).
