Dec 17, 2021 · "A Media driver your computer needs is missing". I get it when trying Win10 too. I've tried different USBs and different USB slots, I've redownloaded the ISOs and checked their hashes. How do I find out which drivers Windows thinks are missing. Is there a log file or something? That message really should give more information IMHO.

It will boot after 1-2 minutes, If I restart, it reboots normally. If I shut down and start it up, I get the message and the 1-2 minute delay. How can this be fixed?

Every time I boot up my PC (an alienware aurora r8) it first shows the alienware logo loading as usual, but switches to a black screen that says “checking media presence” and sometimes it flashes “no media present”, but then eventually the alienware loading screen shows up again and windows 10 loads up as usual.

Jul 29, 2019 · This normally comes up when it's set to boot from a network or media. Boot into BIOS/UEFI Setup to check the Boot order Priority. For a UEFI install first priority should only be Windows Boot Manager, for the older Legacy BIOS the Windows Hard drive should be set first.
