Ditka was drafted by the Bears in 1961 and played for them until 1966. He also coached the Bears from 1982 to 1992, winning Super Bowl XX.
Ditka was traded to the Eagles in 1967 and played for them for two seasons, catching 39 passes for 385 yards and four touchdowns.
Ditka joined the Cowboys in 1969 and played for them until 1972, winning Super Bowl VI. He also was an assistant coach for the Cowboys from 1973 to 1981, winning Super Bowl XII.
Ditka returned to coaching with the Saints in 1997 and stayed until 1999, posting a 15-33 record and making a controversial trade for Ricky Williams.
Ditka signed a contract with the Oilers in 1967, but never played for them, as he was traded to the Eagles before the season started.
