Aug 5, 2020 · I just played with this today as I got a new trailer and new BFG ko2’s. My trailer is around 5300 loaded and I went with 55psi on all truck tires. Trailer tires are maxed as usual. The ko2s have heavier sidewalls and max out at 80psi. I figured 55 should be pretty stout. More pressure = less sidewall squaring i think

Dec 4, 2023 · For reference I was able to fit 35x12.5x17 Nitto Recon with Raptor takeoffs and 6112 set to highest lift with no issues. I think you need another 1-2 inches in the front to fit 35x12.5. Well I got the rims w/37" tires. I'ma buy a pro comp 2" or 2.5" block (still undecided) and see where the 37" fit.

Feb 22, 2017 · Handling may improve slightly because of less sidewall flex. Mileage might be very slightly better with smaller wheels because of weight but not much if at all. If you want to air-down off-road for max traction, 20's don't give you enough sidewall to do it. 18's are good in this respect, but 17's are even better.
